Overview
The Research and Insight team is pivotal to the success of SuperAwesome driving knowledge across the business and our clients. We pride ourselves on delivering ground breaking thought leadership that helps to differentiate SuperAwsome and fuels our content funnel. We provide audience understanding that powers our products, drives sales and builds client relationships. Our team also measures the success of our campaigns and spans the breadth of our business.
We are looking for a curious, meticulous and driven Research and Data Analyst to join our team. You will be pivotal in running our annual and monthly trackers, conducting ad hoc research and supporting our measurement studies. Our trackers are vital to our business, informing our thought leadership content and providing instrumental data for our products. As such this is a unique opportunity to play a really important role in a high functioning team that has a wide impact across our business.
As our Data Analyst you will work closely with the Head of Research and Insight, taking responsibility for all aspects of running our quantitative trackers. You will be the champion of this data and be pivotal in ensuring its wide use and adoption across the org. This will involve working with a range of stakeholders and in particular the sales teams globally. You will also provide ad hoc support to the Insight Managers across our brand lift and measurement studies.
Our ideal candidate has exceptional quantitative research and analytical skills gained at a research or media agency or at a client-side organisation. Hands on experience of manipulating data with Q/R or SPSS a must.
Specific Responsibilities
Responsible for running our yearly and monthly trackers end to end, including data cleaning, csv file management, manipulation of data onto the relevant platform, creation of dashboards, creation of slide resources, including YOY analysis and story led presentations
Provide monthly updates to the business for the monthly tracker, work closely with product with the results of the annual tracker, as well as build resources and support with additional analysis for the rest of the business
Questionnaire design and scripting for in housed ad hoc quantitative projects,
End to end support on brand lift projects including vendor management and supervision, and deck creation
Required Experience
Proven experience in working with statistical programming with advanced SQL/SPPS/CSV Knowledge, (eg. DisplayR, Q, SPPS, Qualtrics) and advanced Excel User
Proven experience in designing, building and maintaining dashboards to uncover relevant data trends
Proven experience in questionnaire design across a variety of methodologies, scripting experience a bonus
Ability to turn data into story led, compelling insight
Experience synthesising large, varied and complex data sets to produce clear and concise insight
Experience with data visualisation tools (Tableau, LookerStudio, Celtra or similar)
Experience in measurement, brand tracking/brand lift ideal, desired, but not essential
Experience of data lakes (in particular databricks) desired, but not essential
Key Skills
Highly numerate with a background in Maths, economics or similar
Strong analytical thinking, curiosity and proactive approach to problem-solving
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to synthesise data into useful formats and bring actionable insights through effective clear and concise communication
Ability to Translate data into action-oriented insight to deliver a clear story to stakeholders.
Project management skills, with the ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously to meet tight deadlines, in a high paced environment.
