SuperAwesome Inc. in Dobbs Ferry, NY seeks Senior Strategic Insight & Research Specialist.
Serve as the Regional Insights specialist and deliver insights to help unlock new opportunities for clients and our company throughout North America to help move the business forward as part of our global Data and Insights team. Apply quantitative and qualitative research, analytics methodology, and audience behavior expertise to work on three focus areas: Pre-Sales Revenue Support, Thought Leadership & Marketing Support, and Campaign Measurement; packaging insights in various formats such as slides presentations for internal use and client/target presentations; data analysis spreadsheets and charts; campaign performance reports; work-type documents sharing insights and findings.
- Work with the Global Head of the Data and Insights Lead to develop, monitor and deliver the strategic goals of the organization.
- Pre-Sales Revenue Support: Analyze internal and external datasets to determine trends and make critical findings to derive tailored insights to be leveraged by both internal and external teams.
- Develop and deploy surveys & analyze the results to gather customized data for client & prospect sales presentations.
- Create and deliver thoughtful and provocative presentations and workshops based on consumer, marketplace, and campaign performance insights to support Sales and drive revenue.
- Partner with Sales, Brand Strategy, Customer Strategy & Analytics, and Brand Partnerships to integrate research into new sales/renewal pitches, proposals, and other client-facing sales documents.
- Drive new business development by uncovering compelling insights for new market and vertical insights.
- Thought Leadership and Marketing Support: Work with Marketing to make impactful thought leadership led content that furthers the SuperAwesome brand.
- Work on Primary Research on core verticals including working with internal stakeholders to uncover whitespace areas, contracting and working with third-party vendors to develop custom surveys, and analyzing results.
- Provide direction and key takeaways from primary research for white papers, infographics, e-books, blogs and other educational and demand generation materials.
- Deliver company webinars and speak at industry conferences.
- Client Research & Campaign Measurement: End-to-end assistance of Brand Lift studies including relationship management with clients and third-party vendors to ensure that studies are designed to deliver the results needed, data analysis and recommendations, and final report delivery and presentation.
- Collaborate with Customer Success teams to analyze data on campaign performance and brand lifts to show the effectiveness of our solutions.
- Utilize syndicated data sources and portals such as Statista, Global Web Index, WARC, Stylus, NewZoo, and Dubit for data analysis and uncover emerging trends to inform internal and client strategies.
- Create strong relationships across the business to maximize internal insight and ensure that all departments are supported. Collect and analyze data on SuperAwesome’s core verticals (Toys, Food & Bev, Entertainment) and key youth audiences.
- Use campaign performance and research findings to inform product development. Work and assist multiple internal and external stakeholders.
- Assist Global Head of the Data and Insights team with the development of the Data and Insights team strategy.
- Assist global team on day-to-day tasks as required.
- Measure and assess process improvements to streamline the Data and Insights team’s productivity.
- Assist with global projects and strategic initiatives. Collaborates with Product team to help optimize and feed latest data into internal SuperAwesome intelligence platform, AwesomeIntelligence.
Travel: 15% International and Domestic travel required. 100% telecommuting from home allowed from anywhere in the United States.
Must possess a Master’s Degree in Marketing, Integrated Marketing Communications, Communications, Sociology or Psychology and 3 years of experience in market research or working in a strategy & insights role.
Must also possess 3 years of experience in:
(1) Writing briefs, trends, or marketing materials such as case studies, newsletters, or white papers; and
(2) turning primary, secondary, or syndicated data into insight-driven stories for client or internal brand recommendations. Must possess 2 years of experience with
(3) working in or with clients in the following industries: Food & Beverage, Toys, or Entertainment;
(4) working in the kids advertising or marketing space;
(5) Project management through work experience or formal training (degree, courses, etc.) in project management;
(6) using at least one of these customer segmentation tools: Statista Global Consumer Survey, Global Web Index, Dubit, or MRI/Simmons;
(7) using at least one of these syndicated research/intelligence platforms such: Stylus, YPulse, Mintel or WARC;
(8) Quantitative and qualitative research background acquired through work experience, conducting or commissioning;
(9) working with cross-functional teams, global teams, and with colleagues of varying levels of seniority;
(10) managing agency partners and vendor relationships;
(11) distilling insights from global market data; and
(12) presenting to clients such as research projects, trends presentations, campaign performance analysis, or briefs.
Salary: $119,038/year
