SuperAwesome is seeking a Senior Ad Operations Manager to lead the execution of our paid media campaigns. This role sits at the heart of our campaign lifecycle, balancing high-stakes global delivery with a strategic focus on yield and performance.
As a senior team member, you won't just manage campaigns; you will be a role model for accountability—a strategist who identifies performance-enhancing and revenue-generating opportunities, and a mentor who builds the team’s collective intellectual capital. You are an expert in the programmatic ecosystem with an obsessive eye for detail and a drive to build the future of automated, media performance strategy.

Strategic Optimisation: Continuously identify issues preventing campaigns from hitting KPIs and propose effective, data-driven solutions.
Technical Expertise & Troubleshooting
Subject Matter Expertise: Serve as the technical authority on our ad tech stack, ad format capabilities, and the advances in programmatic advertising.
Operational Excellence: Develop methodical processes and documentation to reduce mistakes and ensure a "closed-loop" resolution of issues.
Stakeholder & Sales Support
Commercial Advantage: Empower commercial teams with insightful reports and inventory forecasting to benefit campaign delivery and high-quality pitches.
Collaborative Partnership: Work closely with Publisher Development and Product teams to test and deploy new marketplace connections, such as publishers and verification partners.
Leadership & Mentorship
Team Development: Train and support junior Ad Ops managers to ensure a best-in-class delivery chain and a culture of continuous learning.
Process Innovation: Proactively seek out and communicate workflow improvements to drive department-wide effectiveness and scalability.
Requirements
Experience: 4+ years in digital ad operations with a minimum of 1 year focused specifically on programmatic advertising.
Programmatic Proficiency: Deep experience using major DSPs (e.g., DV360, The Trade Desk, or Beeswax), being well versed in optimisation levers and their impact.
Technical Toolkit: Mastery of VAST/HTML5 formats and experience with 3rd party tag vendors such as DCM, Innovid, Moat, and IAS.
Data Fluency: High proficiency in Excel and Google Suite (including Data Studio) with the ability to interpret complex data into actionable insights.
Methodical Mindset: An obsessive eye for detail and a track record of delivering multiple complex projects from inception to completion.
Compliance Knowledge: Solid understanding of global privacy laws and regulations, specifically COPPA and GDPR.
